Global Membership Benefits:

PMI offers various membership categories to cater to different professional stages:​

  • Student Membership: $32 annually, available to students enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs, offering resources tailored to emerging professionals.​PMI Botswana

In addition to the PMI global membership fee, joining the Botswana Chapter requires an annual fee of $20, granting access to local events, volunteer opportunities, and community-specific resources.​

How to Become a PMI Botswana Chapter Member

Step 1: Visit the PMI Global Website

Step 2: Click on “Join”

  • On the homepage menu, click “Join” and then select “Become a Member.”

Step 3: Create a PMI Account (If You Don’t Have One)

  • Fill in your personal information to create an account.
  • Use a valid email address and choose your preferred login credentials.

Step 4: Choose Your Membership Plan

  • Select the Individual Membership (standard option).
  • This now includes the option to select a local chapter (like PMI Botswana) at no additional cost.

Step 5: Select Your Chapter

  • You will be prompted to select a chapter based on your location.
  • Choose PMI Botswana Chapter (or search for “Botswana”).
  • Ensure it is selected before proceeding.

Step 6: Complete Payment

  • Payment is done via credit/debit card
  • Once payment is confirmed, you’ll receive an email with your membership number.

Step 7: Start Engaging with the PMI Botswana Chapter

  • You can now:
    • Attend local events and conferences
    • Join WhatsApp and email groups
    • Volunteer with the Chapter
    • Access chapter-exclusive learning and networking opportunities
    • Earn PDUs for your certifications
